Gusatvo Salazar, 38, pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child after abusing a 15-year-old from Port Chester who was staying with his family in Bridgeport while attending an area high school.
According to police, Salazar forced the teen to watch porn with him and then ordered her to perform the acts she had just seen in the movies on him. When she returned back to Port Chester, she told her family what happened and a police investigation was launched.
Investigators reportedly had Salazar’s victim call him, recording the conversation, during which, he admitted to having sex with her. He allegedly said that he now attends church and hopes to be forgiven, saying that “if I need to go to jail, it is in God’s hands.”
Salazar is scheduled to be sentenced on July 12, when he will face up to 10 years in prison on the sexual abuse charge.
